Elisabeth Troni has joined CBRE Global Investors as lead Global Portfolio Strategist as part of the firm’s Global Real Assets Solutions initiative. In this global role, Troni will work directly with investors to deliver portfolio design and investment solutions recommendations within and across real assets categories, structures and geographies.
“Investors globally continue to expand their portfolios with a broad range of real estate and infrastructure investment opportunities and formats, including equity and debt, listed and unlisted, and direct and indirect strategies delivered through separate accounts and commingled funds,” said Jeremy Plummer, Global CIO, CBRE Global Investors. “Liz will coordinate closely with our research, investment strategy and execution, and client engagement teams to help investors determine the right mix and implementation of strategies to meet their objectives.”
Troni will work across CBRE Global Investors’ $107 billion real assets investment platform globally – including with its Direct real estate teams, CBRE Global Investment Partners, CBRE Caledon infrastructure and CBRE Clarion listed real assets – to provide holistic real assets solutions tailored to investors’ specific needs and objectives.
Prior to joining CBRE Global Investors, Troni was the Head of EMEA Research and Insight for Cushman & Wakefield, serving on the firm’s EMEA executive leadership team. Over her 20+ year career, she has also served as a Global Portfolio Strategist for Aberdeen Asset Management and UBS Global Asset Management, advising investors on the role of real estate and alternatives in a multi-asset context. Additionally, she served as a Senior Research Fellow for the Institute for Public Policy Research.
Troni earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute, Society of Property Researchers and the Investment Property Forum.
