Agents at Harris Lamb have let a trade counter unit in Newcastle-under-Lyme to an auto parts and refinishing supply firm.
The business’ Stoke team was instructed by a private landlord to market the Centre 500 warehouse in Lowfield Drive as the previous tenant Autobrite Direct vacated Unit 803 in February this year, and reported high levels of interest from potential new occupiers.
Becky Thomas, who oversaw the letting, said: “Centre 500 has a great location off the A500 offering convenient access to both junctions 15 and 16 of the M6, and at 3,012 sq ft, this modern trade unit with on-site parking attracted a high level of interest.
“Further to a number of viewings and enquiries, the unit was under offer within a month of vacation, and a lease was agreed with Fleet Factors Ltd, a well-established family-run firm supplying the automotive parts and refinishing market.
“With more than 100 branches nationwide, the business is now fitting out the property and will launch its latest Newcastle branch in the coming weeks. We’re happy to have completed so quickly on the opportunity and wish the business every success with its new site.”
Landlord Mrs Malkin said: “Harris Lamb has an excellent reputation for its regional market insight and I am delighted with how quickly this letting was managed from instruction to completion. I’m very pleased that Fleet Factors has chosen to site its latest branch on Centre 500.”
Becky added: “There is a real call for properties of this nature within the region at present and we’re looking for other trade counter opportunities to take to market.”
