The new 37,500 sq ft building has been designed and developed in collaboration with Sam Kopsch Studio, with commercial workplace design specialists Area, overseeing the fit-out. Opening its doors yesterday, the new development provides over 475 workstations split over five floors, each with its own individual, vivid colour treatment. The building will offer clients the choice of nine bespoke meeting rooms inspired by the theme of ‘What makes you happy?’. From a quirky hot air balloon, to an aquatic haven, deep down ‘under the sea’ theme – each meeting room is designed to surprise and inspire.
The building also offers clients a host of lounges, free break-out spaces, communal kitchen areas, a gym studio, cycle-storage, shower facilities and sit-stand desks as standard. To encourage wellbeing and mindfulness in the workplace, a number of inspirational wall-graffiti quotes on the theme of happiness can be found throughout.
The new office will provide some of the City’s most sophisticated office space. The building boasts the first UK installation of View Dynamic Glass – intelligent, electrochromic windows that automatically tint to maximise natural light and reduce heat and glare. The building benefits from the most-up to date technology, with a Wired Score rating of Gold, high standard soundproofing and individually controlled air conditioning, to support clients’ growth and business needs.
