Cooke & Arkwright’s Investment agency team advised on the sale of an office investment let to British Airways earlier this month. Acting on behalf of Curzon Advisors, and with joint agents Cushman & Wakefield, the property has been sold to real estate investment trust, Highcroft Investments Plc.
Nick Lawley, Investment Director said, “This deal provides a strong income yield to the purchaser with the opportunity for further enhancement in the future. The property is in a very accessible location with major occupiers nearby and we expect this area to witness further growth.”
The property is occupied by British Airways Avionic Engineering Limited, a subsidiary of British Airways, and employs around 250 people at the 111,000 sq ft campus. The facility is British Airways’ one-stop solution in the UK for the repair, maintenance, and application of avionic solutions and diagnostic technologies for a range of Boeing and Airbus aircraft.
