Sorbon Estates has secured a letting for office premises at its Grove Park site at Beechwood, White Waltham, Maidenhead to Power Integrations. Sorbon, the commercial arm of Buckinghamshire-based Shanly Group, has agreed a five-year lease with the Silicon Valley based electronics company on the 3,307 sq ft office suite.
Power Integrations is a leading innovator in the clean-power sector, developing semiconductor technologies for high-voltage power conversation. Headquartered in San Jose, California, the business is one of Silicon’s Valley’s most successful technology companies with offices around the world, including Switzerland and Canada.
This is an expansionary move for Power Integrations and will be the firm’s second office in the UK, adding to its existing presence in Cambridge.
Beechwood, which comprises refurbished modern office space, complete with extensive car parking provision, a café, a barbershop and a nursery on site, benefits from good access to the M4, A404 and M40. Located in White Waltham, the site is within easy reach of the thriving business hub of Maidenhead, which also offers a plethora of amenities and direct train links to London Paddington in 19 minutes, and the West Country. Connectivity will increase further with the arrival of Crossrail. This letting leaves a suite of 2,815 sq ft remaining on the first floor at Beechwood. In addition to this, Oakwood, a self-contained 7,700 sq ft office building over two floors which is also on Grove Park, is currently undergoing refurbishment and is set to be ready for occupation in August.
