Gallagher insurance brokers have taken a three-year lease on new premises at Eastern Business Park in Cardiff, owned by landlords Robert Hitchins Ltd.
The company has more than 60 offices in the UK and moved to Eastern One in 2007. It has now taken up a larger suite of 866 sq ft on the ground floor at Eastern One, one of three office buildings on the 12-acre, campus-style business park at St Mellons.
Branch Director for Gallagher in Cardiff, Paul Warren, said: “We didn’t want to leave Eastern Business Park – the parking is good and communication is excellent.
“We’ve done a fit-out in the new offices and with the help of the team at Eastern Business Park it went very well. We’re very pleased.”
Robert Hitchins’ Asset Manager Karen Vaughan-Edwards was glad to be able to accommodate the company’s growth at the business park.
“We pride ourselves on looking after our tenants and doing our best to provide for them as their business requirements change. We’re especially proud of Eastern Business Park which has just benefited from an extensive refurbishment.”
Robert Hitchins Ltd recently invested more than £750,000 in an internal refurbishment of Building One. The result is suites of between 5,000 and 40,000 sq ft on a single floorplate.
Tenants at Eastern Business Park include architects Powell Dobson, CafeX Ltd, E-On UK plc, Bellway Homes, Taylor Wimpey UK Ltd and the Office for Police Conduct.
The business park is on the eastern outskirts of the city with excellent access to the M4 and A48.
Its three buildings offer a total 170,000 sq ft and benefit from a restaurant, fitness suite, conference centre, meeting rooms, creche, excellent car parking, bike storage, 24-hour access and on-site management.
