BNP Paribas Real Estate, the leading property adviser, has sold unit 23 at Solent Industrial Estate, Hedge End, to EXPD International Limited.
EXPD International Limited, the international courier and freight forwarder, plans to relocate from Deer Park Farm to the 7,192 sq ft warehousing space, which is located close to the M27 motorway and the M3 motorway to London.
Nella Pang, surveyor at BNP Paribas Real Estate’s Southampton office, comments: “Due to a shortage of freehold and long leasehold properties available on the market, we received strong interest for this unit. Although the market is still tough, there are still deals to be done.”
Managing Director of EXPD International Limited, Steve James, added: “One of the biggest challenges facing business today is being able to be flexible enough to meet the demands of their customers. We work with our customers, in fact we think of them as strategic partners, and therefore when they have specific requirements, or we notice a trend we react to it. The acquisition of this fantastic new warehouse facility based in Southampton provides us with another 7000 sq. ft. of storage / pick & pack facilities which enables us to meet the increasing demands for our incredibly professional, reliable and cost effective pick and pack solutions.”
