Acting on behalf of Evoca UK, an Italian company rationalising their UK operations, Wiggins Lockett Thompson have after a period of investigation secured 41,000 sq. ft on the Pensnett Industrial Estate in the Black Country.
Anthony Wiggins who undertook the search, assessment and negotiation on behalf of Evoca said,
“It is a sad fact that at the time of searching there were few opportunities available for a company of Evoca’s standing to acquire good quality premises. Disruption to staff members was a significant priority and their move from Bilston to Kingswinford was a difficult and often pondered decision, bearing in mind the uncertainty in the business sector in general at present. The building nonetheless represented an excellent opportunity to acquire the highest quality of premises on terms that give Evoca significant flexibility in the future.”
As part of this process Wiggins Lockett Thompson have also exchanged contracts to sell Evoca’s current 100,000 sq. ft premises in Bilston, allowing Evoca time to undertake upgrading of offices at Pensnett and complete the move.
Dave Ward, CEO at Evoca, said,
“I was introduced to Wiggins Lockett Thompson Limited by a colleague who was aware of our decision to move premises. From the very first meeting Anthony and his colleagues came across as knowledgeable and confident about all aspects of our project. And so it proved throughout the time it took to sell our building and find somewhere to move to. At every stage Anthony kept us fully informed, provided a wide selection of potential new buildings and managed the successful sale of our existing site. The final few months proved to be very challenging and Anthony proved excellent support and kept both the buyers and new building owners on board. I would have no hesitation recommending Anthony and the rest of the team at Wiggins Lockett Thompson Limited.”
