A successful start to 2019 has seen Birchwood Park, the North West’s award-winning, largest single-owned business park, welcome brand-new occupier Countryside Properties onto the site.
Countryside, a leading UK home builder specialising in placemaking and regeneration, will be the first company to take up occupancy in the newly refurbished 301 Bridgewater Place, on Warrington’s Birchwood Park. Countryside has recently moved into the brand-new site, occupying 20,000 square feet of ‘grade A’ office space.
Spanning 41,425 sq ft over three floors, the communal areas of Bridgewater Place have been redesigned, with the facilities now boasting new air conditioning fitted throughout, large floor plates enabling a greater degree of flexibility and impressive floor to ceiling windows.
The refurbishment of 301 Bridgewater Place is just one step towards completely disrupting expectations when it comes to out-of-town office locations, rivalling any city centre offering.
Martin O’Rourke, commercial director at Birchwood Park, commented: ‘Birchwood Park has for over 20 years been recognised as the region’s leading out-of-town commercial development, and it’s exciting to continue to attract large, reputable companies such as Countryside Properties to the site.
‘Ensuring that Birchwood Park remains at the forefront of the North West business scene and continues to move with the times is of utmost importance to us, and is why we have chosen to evolve its offering to ensure it can cater to the ever-changing business market.’
In 2018, Birchwood Park celebrated its 20th birthday. Since 1998, the park has almost tripled in size, providing 1.1million square feet of office and warehouse space and accommodating more than 165 businesses.
