A warehouse letting to a national parcel carrier in Northamptonshire has been delivered by national commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH).
The unnamed company has signed a 15-year lease on the 22,404 sq ft distribution unit at Raven’s Way, Crow Lane Industrial Estate, in Northampton.
James Hill, industrial agency director at LSH in Northampton, was appointed to market the unit by asset managers M7 Real Estate. It has undergone an extensive programme of refurbishment carried out by LSH’s building consultancy team.
James said: “The major investment in the unit by M7 Real Estate and the completion of the extensive refurbishment, including a new roof and improved floors and external areas, brought the property up to a very high standard. This really appealed to the new occupier who had looked at other options in the area.
“The move enables the occupier to expand its delivery services across the region. It is a very secure site, with extensive palisade fencing and a gated entrance, which was a specific requirement.”
The property has 17,694 sq ft of warehouse space and 4,700 sq ft of offices over two floors. There are 40 parking spaces, 6.5 metre eaves height, and level access loading doors.
Crow Lane Industrial Estate is located three miles from Northampton town centre and five miles from junction 15 of the M1, via the A45 dual carriageway. Nearby occupiers include Royal Mail, Booker, Smurfit Kappa, and Seko Retail.
