Avison Young has promoted Andrew Rogers and James Yates to director positions in the firm’s Leeds office.
Working in the building consultancy team, Andrew’s promotion was driven by his extensive industry expertise and success in winning significant project management instructions from national public and private sector clients.
Heading up the investment department, James is a leading member of the team’s transactional hub and has grown through the ranks after joining GVA as a graduate in 2008, prior to the firm’s recent acquisition by Avison Young.
Commenting on the promotions, Claire Paraskeva, principal and managing director of the Avison Young Leeds office, said: “I am delighted to announce the promotions of James and Andrew.
“Having started his career with us, I have seen James flourish into an outstanding individual and I have no doubt that he will continue to be instrumental in our regional growth as he develops relationships with key clients and helps to elevate our transactional revenue.
“Andrew’s promotion to director is reward for his entrepreneurial approach to securing high value building consultancy mandates. His focus is now to grow our building consultancy business here in Leeds, alongside the existing department head.
“There are no glass ceilings at Avison Young, and James and Andrew are prime examples of what can be achieved for the most committed and successful team members within our business.”
Across the wider business, Avison Young has made 42 promotions in its Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London and Manchester offices.
Avison Young acquired property consultant, GVA in November 2018 and now operates entirely under the Avison Young brand.
