The Bristol office of Knight Frank has expanded its Investment Agency department following the appointment of Nick Thurston.
Nick, an associate of the firm, moves to the department from Knight Frank’s Industrial agency team in Bristol. He joined Knight Frank in May 2010, having previously worked in commercial property agencies in Bristol and a development company in London.
Ben Davies has joined the Industrial team where he will take on Nick’s former role.
Steve Oades, who heads the Knight Frank Bristol office, said: “The investment market remains tough but we are busy. Nick has a great all round knowledge of the property market and his appointment will help us grow this important part of the business.”
The Knight Frank investment teams in Bristol and Cardiff transacted deals in excess of £209 million over the 12 months to April this year.
Recent Bristol deals include £12m of acquisitions at Bristol Business Park, the sale of the iconic Colston Tower to Development Securities for £7m, and the sale of No 1 The Square, Temple Quay for in excess of £12.5m.
