Carter Jonas, the national property consultancy, has completed a chain of commercial property deals in Cambridgeshire involving the sale of an office asset and two leasing deals that demonstrate the strong demand for business space in the region.
Firstly, Carter Jonas agreed the sale of Aqua House in Swavesey on behalf of Imtech to Pigeon Investment Management (“Pigeon”). The 2.91-acre site comprises 21,427 sq ft (1,990 sq m) of space across two detached offices, a workshop and a yard.
Pigeon has agreed to pre-let Aqua House to ENVEA UK, the leading specialist in continuous particulate emission instruments for air quality monitoring, formerly known as PCME Ltd, on a 10-year lease from July 2019 following the asset’s refurbishment. Carter Jonas has been retained to market the yard as open storage until a long-term plan for the space has been decided.
Completing this chain of commercial deals, Carter Jonas has found a new site for the former occupier of Aqua House at 3 Carisbrooke Court at Buckingway Business Park in Swavesey. The two-storey self-contained unit provides 5,334 sq ft (495.92 sqm) of recently refurbished office accommodation with 25 car parking spaces.

Aqua House is well-located approximately half a mile from the centre of Swavesey and one mile from the upgraded A14.
3 Carisbrooke Court, Buckingway Business Park is situated just off Junction 28 of the A14, immediately opposite the Cambridge Services. Swavesey is located between Cambridge and Huntingdon with a guided bus connecting the locations.
