Kings Walk Kitchen have moved into 10 Kings Walk & 9 Foreman Street in a deal agreed by FHP Property Consultants. This is the first new venture for owner Kevin Wright who took over both Hartley’s Café and Homemade, now trading as The Kitchen on Pelham Street, 15 months ago.
Applying the same winning formula to this busy location is sure to be a success where hungry lunch goers can expect plenty of choice with much of the menu supplied by local companies such as meat from Chambers, coffee from Lee and Fletcher, jams from Mr Pitchfork and bread from Bake Off and Pie, which has created bespoke baguettes for the café.
Liam Egan of FHP Property Consultants commented:
“Kings Walk Kitchen is another great addition to the Nottingham food scene. Following the closure of Le Petit Four last year this area has been calling out for a casual lunch time offer, I’m sure that Kevin and his team will be able to capitalise on what is a fantastic spot with their experience trading from similar concepts in the city centre.
“It is brilliant to see this area go from strength to strength. This letting continues to demonstrate that there is vitality in the thriving independent market across the region and despite the national press headlines damning the high street, we are still seeing new entrepreneurial businesses’ open across the city”.
Kevin Wright, co-owner of Kings Walk Kitchen, commented:
“The focus for this premises is a little more on grab & go food as there is a lot of footfall in the area. Our other premises have been performing well and we thought we could do a similar thing over the other side of the city. We came across this and it’s perfect. I would like to thank Liam Egan whose professionalism ensured the process from first viewing to access, just eight weeks, was quick and easy”.
