Cushman & Wakefield has appointed David Robinson as Partner to head up its Logistics & Industrial team in Leeds.
David joins from Savills in Leeds and will be responsible for developing Cushman & Wakefield’s industrial and distribution business across Yorkshire and Humberside.
He brings 20 years’ industrial experience covering development, acquisitions and disposals in both the private and public sector.
At Savills, David headed up the National Industrial and Logistics team covering Yorkshire and the North East. Prior to that, he held positions at JLL and DTZ before its merger with Cushman & Wakefield.
Keith Hardman, International Partner and Head of Cushman & Wakefield’s Leeds office said: “David is a well-respected figure within the Yorkshire industrial market and we are thrilled to have him join the team. Cushman & Wakefield has been strengthening its logistics capabilities in key markets and David’s appointment will bolster our regional expertise.”
David Robinson said: “This is an exciting opportunity to join a talented team. I’m looking forward to working with colleagues within the Leeds office as well as across the firm’s wider UK business to help drive forward our industrial and logistics offering.
He added: “It’s a fantastic time to be part of the region’s industrial sector which witnessed a bumper year in 2018 driven by online retailing. This looks set to continue this year and we anticipate a boom in speculative development to meet increasing occupier demand.”

Richard Evans has recently joined as Head of UK Logistics & Industrial, Chris Knight has been appointed as Partner within the London and South East Logistics Agency team whilst Tim Crighton, a Logistics and Retail Specialist, has also joined as a Partner.
