Palm Capital, the pan-European real estate private equity specialist, has appointed Gabriel Rudert as a director to head up its European asset management activities.
Gabriel joins from GreenOak, where he was a principal, focusing on asset management across Europe for the last eight years. Prior to that, he spent three years at Citi Property Investors, working as an asset manager for its pan-European fund. He started his career in asset management at Archon Group (a Goldman Sachs Company) working across the US, Italy and France.
Gabriel, who is fluent in French and Italian, has a BBA in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Reda Khatim, founder and managing partner at Palm Capital, said: “With a wealth of asset management experience, Gabriel is well placed to drive strong returns for our investors as we look to identify opportunities where we can create value through repositioning and a proactive and creative approach to real estate investing.”
Gabriel Rudert said: “This is an interesting time to join the well-respected team at Palm Capital. The company has an exceptional selection of assets and a particular focus on sectors with significant upside potential – including its UK office repositioning and European urban logistics strategies. Having previously worked with Reda and others on the team while at Citi Property Investors, I am excited to re-join them as we look to drive value on existing and future investments.”
