An agency surveyor at Innes England is celebrating after becoming a qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Joe Reilly, who joined the firm after graduating from Oxford Brookes University in 2016, passed the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) at his first attempt. The qualification requires a minimum of two years’ structured training, including practical experience, leading to full membership of the RICS.
He said: ‘I’m proud to have passed my APC first time and be able to say that I am now a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
‘The support and training provided by the team at Innes England, both through monthly APC meetings and practical learning has been invaluable and has helped me with this achievement. I’m now looking forward to continuing my career with the firm as a qualified Surveyor.’
This is the latest success for Innes England’s RICS accredited training programme, which runs across the firm’s three regional offices in Nottingham, Leicester and Derby.
Managing Director Matthew Hannah said: ‘Qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor is a fantastic achievement and marks an important milestone in Joe’s career.
‘Attracting and nurturing talented young professionals through our APC programme is integral to our business and we’re proud to support our graduates throughout the learning process. They gain a great deal of confidence and experience, which prepares them well for when they qualify.’
