Construction of a 97,242 sq. ft warehouse facility on Goodlass Road in Speke has commenced for clients of Prime Property Consultancy Ltd.
The 4.72-acre site fronting Goodlass Road was acquired by clients of Prime earlier this year and following the granting of detailed planning consent for B1,B2 and B8 use, construction works have now started.
Imran Younus, commercial director at Prime, said: “We are extremely excited to be on-site with our client’s first speculative industrial development in the North West. We have brought this site forward using our own in-house expertise from site acquisition, planning and now construction, via our associated company construction arm.
“Speke is an established industrial location which has seen large amounts of activity over recent years. With land in the area being scarce, we were extremely pleased to be able to secure this opportunity and bring forward what we feel will be an extremely attractive, well specified unit.”
The area, south of Liverpool city centre, is well known as a hub for logistics and industrial development for the Liverpool City Region. Brands represented in the immediate area include Howdens, Tiger Timber and DPP, while Hunts Cross Retail Park is also nearby.
Main features of Prime Point include; 12m eaves height, 500kva power supply and an extensive 66m deep service yard with 32 HGV parking spaces.
The unit is scheduled to be completed in November 2019 and will be marketed to let and for sale.
The joint agents are CBRE and Matthews & Goodman.
