A leading property agency has strengthened its commercial team at one of its principal northern offices.
Fisher German’s latest appointment sees Rory Hague join the firm’s Doncaster office as a Surveyor.
Rory, who graduated with a BSc (Hons) in real estate from Sheffield Hallam University in 2015, joins the team after working as an Estates Surveyor for Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council.
His five years’ experience working in the property sector has seen him undertake projects across the UK including in Suffolk, South Yorkshire, and Hertfordshire, gaining RICS accreditation in 2018.
He brings with him an array of agency, management and professional service experience having dealt with a wide variety of public, commercial and residential sector assets.
And Rory’s cross-sector experience will allow him to enhance the services available at the Doncaster office, which include consultancy, landlord and tenant matters, planning and development.
Rory said: “I joined Fisher German because it was very much people-focused.
“The role is pretty varied – it’s a mix of agency and professional work, as well as involving property inspections, reviewing assets, and making recommendations for future use of assets while considering any site-specific restrictions.
“It has been incredibly interesting and exciting to be taking on a variety of new projects.
“I am looking forward to developing my skills as a surveyor in the commercial sector and Fisher German is a fantastic place to do that.”
Rory gained experience managing a variety of properties during his time with the NHS Property Services and carrying out appraisal work with Ipswich-based Concertus Design and Property Consultants.
The Doncaster office extends the region covered by Fisher German north from Nottinghamshire and the surrounding counties, up into Yorkshire.
Since moving to the office in June 2017, Fisher German has seen significant growth in its commercial business having undertaken multiple cross sector projects for a variety of new clients across the region.
Nigel Nattress at Fisher German said: “Rory has made an impressive start at Fisher German, and brings with him some valuable experience from his time in other property surveyor roles which will help grow our book of significant instructions in the Yorkshire region.
“This has already been seen through enhanced support and guidance to our existing client base, and he will add significant weight to the Fisher German offer as we embark on the next stage of growth across the region and beyond.
“He joins a thriving branch in Doncaster, at the heart of a rapidly growing region, alongside an excellent team of property professionals, and will no doubt have all the tools to develop his career in the years to come.”
