Avison Young has successfully agreed a ten-year lease on behalf of Franke Group at Falkirk’s historic West Carron Works site for 55,000 sq. ft.
The deal sees rapidly expanding local manufacturing firm, Candle Shack moving its operations and 40 local employees to the site.
Candle Shack is a luxury candle manufacturer and supplier of candle-making supplies and equipment. The company’s relocation from its current two separate, smaller sites in Larbert and Grangemouth to one larger space will allow it to create up to 20 new jobs over the next three years and will provide space for its R&D laboratory and eCommerce centre.

West Carron Works perfectly fit our business requirements and offers our staff, many of whom live locally, a great location. This is a move which will allow our business to continue to grow and develop.”

The letting to Candle Shack follows a 4,000 sq. ft letting taken at the end of 2018. The remaining industrial and office accommodation at the site continues to be actively marketed by Avison Young.
