Warwickshire-based digital production print specialist Office Impressions has found a new home in Alcester, thanks to help from business property agents John Truslove.
Director Sharon Wedgbury Mount explained: “We had outgrown our original home, at Wootton Park in Wootton Wawen, and needed space for a showroom and larger workshop facilities.
“We looked at several possible sites with Ben Truslove, from business property consultants John Truslove, before selecting the Arden Business Centre.”
The company has now bought 4,103 sq ft of space at 9 Arden Centre, in Alcester. “It is a big step, to buy our own premises, but it is an investment for the company and means rental money is not flowing away from the business,” said Mrs Wedgbury Mount.
“Being in the West Midlands means we are at the centre of the UK, and we have customers throughout the country. Although we provide managed print services, the biggest part of our business is production print.
“Every firm needs printed products, such as brochures and direct mail, and we provide the equipment and consumables to hundreds of clients nationwide. Despite the growth of digital technology we have seen no slowdown in demand for printed products in business.
“The quality of output now available from digital presses has seen an increased shift from traditional litho printing to production colour devices.”
Office Impressions is the supplier of choice for many leading organisations across both public and private sectors and is recognised as being one of the UK’s leading independent suppliers of production print systems.
“We started up in 2004 and there are now nine people employed across the business,” said Mrs Wedgbury Mount. “The new premises give us the showroom and workshop space we needed.”
Ben Truslove, joint managing director at John Truslove, said: “This is a well established, successful, business that had outgrown its previous premises and needed somewhere that could provide the increased facilities it needed. The Arden Business Centre is designed to provide that next step for expanding companies like Office Impressions.”
