A historic landmark office building in the Nottingham suburb of Wilford is set to undergo a multimillion-pound refurbishment after a property deal brokered by commercial property specialists NG Chartered Surveyors.
Acting on behalf of family pension fund owners, NG have taken back possession of the beautiful Wilford House following engineering Global Property and Construction Consultants consultancy Gleeds’ lease coming to an end.
The stunning 12,000 sq ft Grade 2 listed building is set in 1.5 acres of landscaped grounds and is about to undergo a dramatic refurbishment taking it on to the next stage of its life.
The works will include a remodelling of the internal space and increasing the on-site parking provision and an upgrade to all IT infrastructure.
Richard Sutton, director at NG Chartered Surveyors is excited about the project. He said: “When complete Wilford House will offer something very special indeed and something not available anywhere else in Nottingham. It already has the vital components of connectivity, accessibility and style and the level of investment will appeal to any aspirational occupier. It certainly won’t be conventional office space – it’s a space with real personality.
“Wilford House will have the quintessentially quirky British style pioneered by Nottingham’s very own Paul Smith. It will marry the old with the new seamlessly to become some of the most sought after space on the market. We;’d urge any ambitious companies looking for the ‘wow factor’ for their next office move to get in touch.”
Wilford House is located at the corner of Clifton Lane and Wilford Lane at Wilford, close to the A453 and A52, west of West Bridgford and in close proximity to the Nottingham western ring road, approximately 3.6 kilometres (2 miles) south-west of Nottingham city centre.
