Avison Young has further strengthened its Property Management business, welcoming Nick Coombs to the team, following the recent appointment of Richard Williams as Principal and Managing Director. Nick has been appointed as Senior Director to lead the West End Management team.
Nick joins from CBRE, where he worked for eight years specialising in management for mixed-use developments and property companies, including Scottish Widows, Greenwich Estate, Kennedy Wilson and Cordatus. Prior to that, Nick spent 20 years at Nelson Bakewell.
Richard Williams comments: “We are continuously introducing fresh and innovative ways to improve property management, including using new and market leading technology. But what’s arguably most important, still, is experience, intuition and interaction. Nick’s great depth of knowledge in real estate management and many years’ experience in working with estates will be invaluable in driving our business forward.”
Avison Young’s Property Management Consultancy team currently has £15bn assets under management for institutional and property company clients, looking after over 15,000 occupiers. The 250-strong team manages a wide variety of property including office, industrial and logistics and retail, as well as mixed-use schemes and has a number of high profile ‘trophy’ assets under management.
