Alex Cary, graduate surveyor at the Bristol office of global property consultancy Knight Frank, has passed the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) examination.
The qualification success means he becomes a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and fully-qualified Chartered Surveyor.
Alex joined Knight Frank in Bristol in 2016 after achieving a building surveying degree from the University of Coventry
As well as studying and practical training towards his RICS assessment of professional competence, he has been involved in a range of projects for Knight Frank’s Building Consultancy Team over the last 12 months.
Alex, 27, said: “The support offered by the Knight Frank graduate scheme is acknowledged as one the best in the commercial property sector. I would recommend other graduates consider a similar route into becoming a chartered surveyor. It’s a tough course but very rewarding when you qualify.”
Steve Oades, managing partner of Knight Frank in Bristol, said: “We are delighted that Alex has passed his Assessment of Professional Competence and is now a fully qualified chartered surveyor. He has impressed us all with his hard working approach, combined with a real understanding of how commercial property works and a determination to give our clients a first class service.”
The Knight Frank building consultancy division is involved at any stage of a building project’s lifecycle and services include surveying, dilapidations, refurbishments, building reinstatement and project management.
