Electric Works, the high-quality 54,000 sq ft managed workspace building located opposite Sheffield’s mainline railway station, has become the first building in Sheffield to achieve a Platinum Wired Certification.
Wired Certification is the global rating scheme for digital connectivity in commercial real estate delivered by WiredScore. It provides tenants with an independent, trusted benchmark and the necessary insights for landlords and developers to improve and future-proof their buildings’ digital connectivity standards.
Currently home to over 100 businesses, Electric Works provides a range of flexible high specification serviced offices in addition to co-working and events space for fast-growing creative, digital, technology and media companies across four storeys. It features the first UK permanent office helter-skelter that sees staff slide down three floors in just seven seconds and is located opposite Sheffield’s mainline train station.

Red Star relocated to Electric Works in 2010 due to its prime location and high-calibre IT infrastructure.
