Domestic appliance manufacturer, Hoover Candy, has launched a large-scale office complete with a 2,500 sq ft showroom at the North West’s leading out of town business destination; Birchwood Park.
Situated within the award winning Bridgewater Place development, the first-floor, 12,000 sq ft office provides modern, Grade A accommodation complete with a café, breakout areas and space for informal meetings, as well as access to the site’s wide range of services including creche, gym and auditorium.
Chosen due to its transport links, being in the catchment area of major cities and several high-class universities, as well as locality to the brand’s spares and service centre in Bolton, 302 Bridgewater Place has been designed to provide maximum efficiencies for the business.
The showroom, located in a prime position at the South West corner of the office, features Hoover’s ‘Kitchen of the Future’ installation, complete with smart appliances and a virtual reality experience. It also includes models from Hoover Candy’s built-in, freestanding and floorcare divisions, such as ovens, hobs, fridge freezers, dishwashers, washing machines and cordless vacuum cleaners.
The focal point of the showroom is a live kitchen, complete with Hoover ovens, induction hobs, fridge freezer and dishwashers.
The office officially launched on 4 April 2019 with special guests Yannick Fierling and Semmy Levit, CEO and CCO of Haier Europe – Hoover Candy Group’s parent company.
David Meyerowitz, CEO of Hoover Candy Group UK, said: “Birchwood Park better reflects the brand and business vision and provides us with a great platform to continue our growth ambitions.
“Hoover is a company that’s not stopped innovating since its inception more than a century ago. Our 20:20 Vision mission is to be the “supplier of choice” for our trade customers. This new facility supports our ambitions to deliver Operational Excellence.
“The new office is easily accessible by road, rail and air for staff, customers, suppliers and international employees and is a real step-change in the quality of accommodation and environment people are used to.”
Martin O’Rourke, commercial director at Birchwood Park, added: “We are delighted to welcome a company of Hoover’s stature to Birchwood Park. Hoover Candy’s growth ambitions make them the perfect fit for our thriving business community, and we have no doubt that staff and customers alike will enjoy tapping into the vast range of amenities and we have on offer across the park.”
Birchwood Park recently unveiled Warrington’s first meet, eat and work destination – the EngineRooms – which provides meeting rooms, communal working space, and modern food market-style dining.
