Leading Dorset law firm Steele Raymond LLP has announced three key promotions across the business.
Solicitors Shaun Guppy, Laura Clarke and Kayleigh Medland have all been promoted to associate as the firm continues to promote legal talent in the firm.
Commercial solicitor Shaun Guppy joined the firm in 2011 as a placement student from Bournemouth University, then went on to join the firm’s leading trainee recruitment programme in 2014 and qualified into the firm’s top tier Company and Commercial team in 2016. Shaun specialises in commercial contracts, and works with a range of businesses from start-ups to large corporate transactions.
Speaking about his promotion Shaun said: “It has been fantastic to be a part of the Steele Raymond family and contribute to the journey that the firm has been on since my joining as a trainee. Steele Raymond is an incredible place to work, with every opportunity to progress. I am very much looking forward to the next chapter of my legal career with the firm.”
Laura Clarke, a wills and probate solicitor based in Steele Raymond’s Southbourne office also started as a trainee within the firm and works in the firm’s well respected private client team. Laura specialises in probate and estate administration, Will drafting, Lasting Power of Attorney trust management and the management of people’s affairs.
Laura said: “I am delighted to receive this promotion and am grateful to Steele Raymond for the support they have provided during my training and post qualification. I am looking forward to continuing my journey within this exciting time with the firm.”
Kayleigh Medland, who joined the firm in 2017, is a member of the firm’s top tier commercial property team and specialises in landlord and tenant, investment and land development work.
Kayleigh said: “It’s fantastic being part of such a talented and knowledgeable team. In both the Commercial Property team and the firm as a whole, everyone is so supportive and it is great to work for a firm which values and rewards the hard work we all put in to making the business a success. I am looking forward to the future as the firm continues to move from strength to strength.”
