CBRE in Leeds has appointed Tom Bailey as Quantity Surveyor within the Building Consultancy Project & Cost Management (P&CM) team. This latest appointment further strengthens this expanding team which continues to grow following the appointment of Gary Allen as its new lead Director just one year ago.
Tom joins CBRE from Burnley Wilson Fish where he provided extensive pre-contract cost management services, as well as the delivery of several projects from inception to completion. Tom’s new role at CBRE Leeds will include cost management and general commercial advice for occupiers, developers, funders and investment clients.
The appointment forms part of CBRE’s wider expansion of its P&CM team across the North and the dedicated team of 4 in Leeds takes the group across the north to 15 and the Building Consultancy team in Leeds to 11 professionals.
Richard Bamford, Head of National Building Consultancy commented;
“We are delighted to welcome Tom to the team. His appointment further reinforces our market offer and our ability to service our growing workload. We have an exciting list of projects on the books across a range of sectors, primarily; industrial new build and refurbishment, office fit out and healthcare. Tom is a great addition and he will support the team in maximising these new and exciting opportunities.”
Tom Bailey commented:
“I am pleased to be joining the CBRE team in Leeds at an exciting time for the Building Consultancy sector. My role will concentrate on cost management and contract administration instructions across a variety of sectors, to help build on the existing high quality of service the team provides across the UK.”
