Leading conveyor belt supplier Chiorino, has leased the 37,000 sq ft Unit F2, Whistler Drive at Glasshoughton on a 10-year lease, from landlord Marsdens Developments.
The modern unit was formerly occupied by DHL and subsequently refurbished by the landlord.
According to Rob Oliver at Avison Young, who brokered the deal: “The unit is prominently located adjacent to the M62, and easily accessible from Junction 32. Due to this, and its good specification, the unit attracted substantial tenant interest prior to Chiorino’s lease.”
Matthew Marsden of Marsden Developments commented: “Following the departure of DHL, we are delighted to attract Chiorino to the unit, and look forward to working with the team as its landlord in the years ahead.”
Carl Johnson, managing director of Chiorino UK Ltd, added: “We are pleased to have completed the lease on this unit, we are now busy fitting it out and we should be fully operational by June. The move has given us the opportunity to invest in our business and we look forward to commencing the next chapter in our new facility.”
