Dulux and sportswear supplier Masuri are the latest names to move into new units created at Wykeham Trade Park, Winchester.
South Coast commercial property specialists Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), joint agents with Hellier Langston, have also secured a soon to be announced occupier for the 4,448 Unit E at the site in Moorside road, which will become a warehouse and trade counter.
Unit E was one of three created by Canmoor by splitting a larger unit vacated by APEM, which moved to larger new premises. Dulux moved in to Unit D in a letting secured by JLL, while the new unit F was taken up by Masuri. The three new occupiers will join existing businesses including Howdens, Toolstation, Motor Parts Direct and Bathroom Warehouse.
Dan Rawlings, Senior Surveyor in the industrial team at LSH, said: “APEM’s departure provided a rare opportunity for conversion of a large unit into almost 15,000 sq ft of space in three units in a thriving location. All the units were under offer before the refurbishment had completed, underlining the strength of demand for quality space in the region.”
Matt Poplett of Hellier Langston added: “The Wykeham Trade Park is an excellent estate close to J9 of the M3 and within 1.4 miles of Winchester City Centre. Due to the high demand we have seen in the market for units in this location all units are all now let.”
