PMW Properties’ excellent Optimum Business Park scheme at Swadlincote is now down to the last available unit following the completion of a sale brokered by Tim Gilbertson of FHP with joint agent Phil Randle of Salloway.
The latest deal sees local occupiers, Astec Conveyors, purchase a further building to enable their continued success and expansion leaving just one unit available on the scheme which can be purchased or rented.
Tim Gilbertson commented:
“Since its inception the scheme has been a great success. We have attracted a range of occupiers from national brands such as Toolstation through to expanding local occupiers such as in this case Astec Conveyors.
Of the ten units built only one is now available and this can be purchased or rented. Sadly, with no further land on the scheme this is the last opportunity so it is now or never for any occupiers thinking that the time is right to buy or rent new space.
The last unit is just over 4,200ft² and anybody buying here will be making a sensible decision as evidenced by the other occupiers we already have on site.”
Phil Randle of Salloway added:
“It has been great working on this scheme, it is just a pity there is no further land available for an extension to it.
It has really filled a gap in the local market, particularly on a freehold basis where stock has been impossible to find for a number of years. No doubt the final unit will go under offer shortly and we will be putting up the ‘full house’ signs at Optimum Business Park!”
