Developers at Horizon38, a joint venture between St Francis Group and iSec, are pleased to announce another letting at Horizon38, the mixed-use regeneration project in Filton, Bristol.
Williams Trade Only Plumbing has taken 11,100 sq ft of space on Bolingbroke Way. The company has signed a 10-year lease at a headline rent of £8.50 psf, with the developer represented jointly by Avison Young and JLL in the deal.
Williams Trade Only Plumbing now joins other occupiers of these light industrial units, including Kew Electrical who has recently taken 4,500 sq ft of space, also on Bolingbroke Way, and is currently fitting out in readiness for an imminent opening.
The terraced units at Horizon38 have been highly sought-after from both national and local firms since completion, with just four of the 10 units built now remaining.
Byron Hammond of Avison Young says, “Horizon38 an exceptional regeneration project in North Bristol that continues to attract high quality occupiers. With just four of the ten light industrial units now remaining, the proximity to anchor occupier Selco Builders Warehouse gives businesses who choose to locate here a great profile.”
Other occupiers in this phase of units include LSI Workplace Europe, provider of office furniture installation and relocation services. LSI relocated from Avonmouth to be part of Horizon38 and is now open and trading. Motor Parts Direct has also chosen Horizon38 for its latest branch supplying quality car parts to the independent garage industry.
Aimed at medium-sized companies across all manufacturing and logistics sectors seeking a high-quality base, the individual units range in size from 4,500 sq ft to 7,400 sq ft, and can be combined to form larger units if required. They all have allocated customer parking.
Gareth Williams of St Francis Group said, “The lack of supply within the greater Bristol area has meant that these units in particular have proved very popular indeed. Horizon38 is beginning to generate a real buzz with most units now occupied but several remain available to rent.”
Horizon38 is part of the East Works Masterplan Development, with MSF Filton already investing around £50m into a range of speculative industrial units and infrastructure. The new £85 million employment scheme combines industrial and distribution buildings totalling 580,000 sq ft.
GKN Aerospace has recently announced that Horizon38 is to be home to its new £32million global technology centre. Syntner Group is building a £15million sales and service operation for its CarShop brand, while the Village Hotel and Leisure Club opened for business in late 2018.
