The largest industrial and logistics unit in the South West has been completed by expert developer and regeneration specialist, St. Modwen, and is ready for immediate occupation.
Spanning 150,664 sq ft, the unit has been built in response to the increasing market demand for logistics and production space close to the M5 and as part of the company’s targeted speculative building programme across the South West.
The region is playing a key role in delivering the company’s strategy to build a high quality industrial and logistics business, which includes committed delivery of 1.5m sq ft this year and a wider potential pipeline of 15 million sq ft over the coming years.
Peter Davies, Development Director for St. Modwen West and Wales, said:
“This new unit is now available to rent and for immediate occupation. The combination of its high quality together with Access 18’s prime location with access to Junction 18 of the M5, proximity to relevant local labour force, public transport and amenities, will appeal to both regional and national occupiers.
“We now have 1 million sq ft of accommodation completed or under construction to complete in the coming months at Access 18. Units are available from 5,000 sq ft to 60,000 sq ft and with a further 260,000 sq ft ready to deliver on-site, we can also discuss build to suit solutions to reflect specific occupier requirements.
St. Modwen Park Access 18 Avonmouth is already home to 15 companies, including Hermes Parcelnet Ltd, Kent Foods Budget Greetings Cards, Movianto, Nisbets and Commercial Electrical Factors. A key strategic commercial development site for the South West, Access 18 has the potential to provide in excess of 2,200 jobs in total.
Alder King and Knight Frank are joint agents on the development.
