The Birmingham office of national commercial property expert Vail Williams has opted to extend its lease at Four Brindleyplace until 2015.
The new lease for the 2,000 sqft space on the ground floor of the prestigious office building – which has been occupied by Vail Williams for five years –confirms the company’s commitment to Brindleyplace as a successful business environment.
Vail Williams has experienced an extremely positive year, having made several new appointments to the Birmingham office in keeping with its strategy for expansion.
Chris Cave, Regional Partner, Vail Williams, said: “While the building itself provides an outstanding Grade A office experience, the appeal of Four Brindleyplace is in part due to its position within the exceedingly well run Brindleyplace estate. As this office serves the wider Midlands area, our proximity to the motorway network, combined with a well maintained environment and convenient access to the adjacent car park makes this a truly outstanding place to work.
“Despite tough market conditions, this has been a strong year with turnover growth of 43 per cent, expansion across our office and high expectation of positive results from our end of year report. We currently have space to grow and expect to discuss our requirements again within the period of the new lease.”
A part of the award-winning Brindleyplace estate, which is owned and operated by estate owners Hines Global REIT and Moorfield Group (Moorfield), Four Brindleyplace fronts on to Central Square, with a rear aspect that overlooks Birmingham’s canal network.
Igor Mathias of Hines, said: “Four Brindleyplace is a great building, offering a range of flexible options to occupiers. We are extremely pleased that Vail Williams will be extending its current lease and are now looking forward to continuing our on-going relationship over the next three years.”
Jeremy Marchant, Moorfield, said: “Brindleyplace provides occupiers with the perfect balance of accessible, convenient amenities by day and a multitude of bars and entertainment options once the working day is done. It is a truly unique destination that offers outstanding connectivity, an excellent location and well-deserved reputation as one of the city’s leading business destinations, all of which creates an extremely attractive proposition, both for existing and prospective occupiers.”
Brindleyplace boasts an extremely diverse mix of commercial tenants, including Deloitte, RBS, Deutsche Bank and GVA. A full range of bars, restaurants and leisure amenities are also available across the estate, including Café Rouge, the Handmade Burger Company, Bannatyne’s Health Club, and Bank bar and restaurant.
