Lothbury Investment Management, on behalf of Lothbury Property Trust, has let their long term holding at Unit C1, The Fleming Centre, Crawley, to RCG Group for £75,000 per annum on a five year lease.
RCG Group Ltd., which trades as R C Geeks, is the leading retailer for remote control products, from drones to model cars, throughout the UK and Europe.
The refurbished 6815 sq ft (633 sq m) semi-detached and self-contained unit is of steel portal frame construction with block infill and profiled steel elevations. Internally there are offices at both ground and first floor levels. It includes 18 car parking spaces and was previously let to Speedy Hire.
Perry Linch, Associate Director at Lothbury Investment Management, said: “We are pleased to have secured this letting to a tenant with a very good covenant. The rental level achieved was in line with expectations.
“The Fleming Centre is one of the Fund’s long term holdings and an excellently performing asset. It provides good capital and rental income growth in a fast developing area close to London Gatwick airport.”
