Stanhope, Mitsui Fudosan and AIMCo announce that in May 2019 British luxury brand Ralph & Russo will be relocating their atelier space and head office with 400 staff to White City Place, a one million square foot business district in West London. The arrival of Ralph and Russo is the latest in a stream of high-profile companies to take up residence at White City Place, which is cementing itself as the hub for creative and tech industries in west London.
Renowned for housing one of the largest couture ateliers in Europe, Ralph and Russo will occupy a 30,000 sq ft space within the MediaWorks building in White City Place, almost twice the size of their current atelier. Ralph and Russo have established themselves as one of the most sought-after designers in the world and have been instrumental in the growth of London as a centre for haute-couture fashion. The move to White City Place will mark the start of exciting growth plans for 2019, ahead of additional flagship store openings which will further cement the brand’s global footprint.
Home to world class brands and entertainment, the businesses of White City Place are united by their vision for creativity and innovation. Ralph & Russo are delighted to be joining other industry-leading organisations such as the BBC, ITV, the Royal College of Art, Yoox-Net-A-Porter (YNAP), the fashion-tech firm which has a Tech-Hub, and Huckletree West, a co-working space which focuses on business growth through technological innovation in the MediaWorks building.
David Camp, Chief Executive, Stanhope said, “Ralph and Russo are one of the most prestigious fashion houses and luxury brands in the world today, and we are delighted that they are expanding to White City. With one of the largest ateliers in Europe and expansion already underway, we believe White City Place is the perfect location for them to grow as a company.”
Eiichiro Onozawa, Managing Director, Mitsui Fudosan said: “The relocation of Ralph and Russo to White City Place is an example of the development of the White City area, and highlights the appeal of White City Place to businesses. We are excited for Ralph and Russo to become part of our growing community of creative companies.”
CEO Michael Russo says: ‘We are excited to be moving our atelier to a much larger space and look forward to joining such a dynamic community of creative businesses’.
