A leading food company which has found the recipe for success has invested in a West Midlands manufacturing unit to support its expansion across the country.
National commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) completed the £940,000 deal on behalf of a private landlord, which saw the baked goods business acquire the 12,957 sq ft industrial unit at Hotchkiss Way, Binley Industrial Estate, in Coventry.
Matt Tilt, industrial and logistics director at LSH in Birmingham, said: “It’s very unusual for manufacturing units of this size to become available so it wasn’t too surprising that there was a huge amount of interest from a number of parties in acquiring the property.
“Working with our client, a private landlord, we were able to negotiate a very good deal for both parties. The food company involved has acquired a high quality warehouse unit, which will support the company’s plans for continued expansion. It’s in an excellent location, being near junction three of the M6 and the M69, providing very good road links to the rest of the UK.”
