Leading chartered surveyors John Truslove has secured the latest in a series of lettings at an increasingly busy industrial estate in Redditch.
The deal has seen expanding residential builders Norcon Construction Ltd, headquartered in Yorkshire, open a new base at 22 Manorside on Walkers Road, North Moons Moat.
John Truslove arranged for Norcon, run by father and son Brian and David Norton, to rent the 3,830 sq ft unit at £25,000 per annum on a five-year lease from landlord Paloma Capital.
The deal follows other recent lettings including deals with bespoke garden offices and summer houses specialist Newell-Y-Built, a new laboratory facility for Alta Bioscience, a manufacturer of specialist biochemical products, and most recently, market leading printer Thermal Transfer Solutions Ltd.
Ben Truslove, a director at John Truslove, said: “We were delighted to find the right place for Norcon to expand its successful business into the West Midlands and we now look forward to watching them progress in the region.
“Manorside is an attractive business centre in a great location, and it’s been exciting to help a wide variety of businesses take space here in recent months.”
Jeremy Collin, director of asset management for landlord Paloma Capital, said: “Following an extensive refurbishment programme across the estate, we’re thrilled with the flow of new business into our premises at Manorside and are really impressed with how John Truslove is marketing our asset.
“It’s great to see such a range of successful businesses on site and we look forward to attracting more to join them in the near future.”
Manorside is one of the largest industrial estates in Redditch with 29 units, some of which are still available.
