Acting on behalf of Canynge Bicknell (Investments) Limited, Keningtons have announced the sale of a 4,525 sq ft two storey office building on the popular Interface Business Park.
The property was in the process of being refurbished when the sale to a Private Pension Fund was agreed. The Trustees of the Pension Fund will now be letting the property to their own company, Joint Operations Limited, a business specialising in Medical Devices which is relocating from the Blagrove area in Swindon.
Jeremy Sutton of Keningtons comments “The property, along with the adjoining building became available when the previous tenants lease expired. Canynge Bicknell undertook a comprehensive refurbishment of both units, which included new air conditioning and were rewarded with a sale of unit 11, before the ‘paint was dried’. Unit 10 which is also 4,525 sq ft is now available to either let or purchase.
Daniel Smethurst of Smethurst Property Consultants, who advised the purchasers adds “Property purchases, where company Directors buy the property and then let them to their own companies, are again becoming very popular.”
Richard Forster, a partner in both Joint Operations and the pension fund, commented “we’re excited to be taking root at 11 Interface Business Park. Royal Wootten Bassett is an excellent location for Joint Operations, given its proximity to the motorway network and the skilled local workforce”.
Keningtons and Loveday acted for the vendors and Smethurst Property Consultants acted for the Purchasers.
