A Midlands-based building contractor is really motoring after creating a major new supercar dealership in Kent.
MCS Group has transformed a former Mazda site to create the Grange Lamborghini dealership in Tunbridge Wells, after being appointed by motor retail group Cambria Automobiles plc.
The former workshop and showroom has been remodelled into the Lamborghini Tunbridge Wells dealership as part of an 11-week project costing £795,000.
The dealership, in Dowding Way near the A21, stocks new and pre-owned super sports cars, including the Lamborghini Huracán Spyder and the Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster.
Richard Llewellyn, commercial manager at MCS primary projects, said: “We are delighted to have delivered the new Lamborghini dealership in Tunbridge Wells on behalf of Grange and Cambria Automobiles plc ahead of schedule.
“MCS are market leaders in the motor retail sector with a great deal of experience and expertise in constructing and refurbishing high quality car dealerships on time and to budget.
“Working directly with leading manufacturers, developers and operators has enabled us to achieve a unique understanding of what drives the industry and we can be trusted to deliver in line with the corporate image of luxury brands such as Lamborghini.”
The new Grange Lamborghini car dealership includes a 396 sq ft workshop, new garage equipment, Lamborghini-approved furniture and a lighting scheme designed by iGuzzini. The project has also delivered improvements to external parking areas and hard-standing.
Grange is a fast-growing and successful, prestige, franchised new and used vehicle dealership, originally founded more than sixty years ago in Brentwood. Operating as part of Cambria Automobiles plc, it is a representative of the Aston Martin, Bentley, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Land Rover and McLaren marques, with twelve dealerships nationwide.
MCS Group has built and refurbished more than 300 car dealerships since its inception in 2003. The Warwickshire-based company has worked on a string of high-profile projects for the likes of Audi, BMW, Mclaren and Jaguar Land Rover, ranging in value from £50m to £250m.
The ambitious constructor has enjoyed a period of sustained growth in delivering projects across the motor retail, industrial, storage and distribution sectors and has set itself a target of increasing profits and doubling current turnover to around £200 million by 2020.
