The Huntingdon office of Barker Storey Matthews has confirmed that a local company providing interior design, build and styling services to the exhibitions and events sector is the new occupier of warehouse premises on the Stukeley Meadows Industrial Estate in Huntingdon.
The company, Penny Banks Ltd, is relocating from a unit on the St Peter’s Road Industrial Estate in the town where it has been based since 2015.
Penny Banks Ltd’s new premises on Alms Close on the Stukeley Meadows Industrial Estate is 3,453 sq m (37,018 sq ft), L-shaped, detached warehouse with offices and yard and was offered to let by Barker Storey Matthews, as the sole agent under instruction on behalf of the landlord.
In seeking new premises in which to expand on coming to the end of the lease on its St Peter’s Road unit, Penny Banks Ltd wanted to remain in the Huntingdon area and was looking for a larger unit.
Managing Director, Penny Horner said, “We serve a national and international client base and need good access to road networks. Plus, with a loyal and local workforce, we wanted to stay in Huntingdon.
“Our new base at Alms Close ticks all the boxes for us and we’re looking forward to growing the business from there.”
Richard Adam, Director, Barker Storey Matthews, added, “We were pleased to assist Penny Banks Ltd in its move. This was a good opportunity to secure premises in an increasingly tight market with few larger units available.”
