The relocation requirements of a Cambridge-based medical equipment and services company sees Falcon Court at Hinchingbrooke Business Park, Huntingdon now fully let, confirms Barker Storey Matthews.
Fulbourn Medical is the occupier of the final unit available at Falcon Court where it has taken a lease on Unit 1, giving the company 373 sqm (4,016 sq ft) of light industrial workshop space with first floor offices at the new build development on relocating from its current premises in Fulbourn, Cambridge.
Falcon Court and its companion development, Kingfisher Court, are two brand new-build developments at Hinchingbrooke Business Park. On commencement of construction last year (2018), they formed the first speculative development in Huntingdon for almost a decade.
With the six units at Falcon Court now fully let, Barker Storey Matthews advises that the final two of the eight units at Kingfisher Court are now under offer.
The prominence of each new development’s position at Hinchingbrooke Business Park, the quality and flexibility of the new-build accommodation and proximity to the A14 and onward transport connections are referenced by occupiers of both Falcon Court and Kingfisher Court, according to the agent.
Richard Adam, Director, Barker Storey Matthews Huntingdon, added, “We are under instruction on several brand new industrial developments in the pipeline and these will be completed towards the end of the year (2019).
“The lack of availability of brand new industrial/warehouse stock in the Huntingdon area is much commented upon. That’s why we’re encouraging any landlords with good quality, older units to consider bringing them forward for marketing sooner rather than later.”
