Property consultancy Commercial Property Partners LLP (CPP) has recently announced a raft of promotions and appointments, as part of the group’s ongoing growth strategy.
Following a successful 2018, where CPP scooped the award for Best Agents in Yorkshire; Best Agents in the East Midlands; and Best Office Agents in Sheffield, CPP has announced the promotion of Matthew Fitzgerald to Equity Partner.
Matthew will remain Head of Property and Asset Management within the company, taking on a more strategic role across the business with the new role.
Commenting on his promotion, Matthew said: “I’m delighted to be taking a more senior position at CPP. Our focus is to present a seamless nationwide property service, and I’m looking forward to what I am sure will be another strong year for the company.”
Charlie Proctor has been appointed to Assistant Surveyor within the Property Management team, supporting across all aspects of the business as part of his ongoing training.
Charlie, from Fulwood, Sheffield was selected from over 20 candidates after applying for the competitive role through his sixth form at Silverdale School in Ecclesall, Sheffield. Alongside his apprenticeship at CPP, where he will be based at the Group’s head office in Sheffield, Charlie is undertaking a four-year RICS accredited degree course and Assessment of Professional Competence at Reading University College of Estates Management.
Matthew commented: “We strongly believe in giving young people the opportunity to work in what is a very rewarding industry, and are delighted to welcome Charlie to the team.
“Charlie possesses many qualities that we look for in our team members – and learning on the job is a great way to build a deeper understanding of the industry, and develop a range of knowledge and skills.”
Charlie added: “Following the opportunity of a trial period at CPP, I realised property was something I really enjoyed and wanted to move into.
“I am very proud to be joining such a successful team, enabling me to develop my understanding and experience of the business and the wider industry. I am grateful for the opportunity and am hugely looking forward to my future at CPP.”
Melanie Anson also joins the CPP team, taking on the role of Property and Facilitates Co-ordinator.
Melanie was previously at the Metropolitan Housing in Nottingham, having worked there for just under nine years as Repairs Team Leader and also Facilities Co-ordinator, and will now be the first point of contact for CPP’s commercial property tenants.
Melanie said: “CPP has a strong reputation in the commercial property arena, and I’m looking forward to building on my experience in my new role.”
