A planning application has been made in Newmarket for a new warehouse unit of 18,048 sq ft (1,677 sq m), incorporating an 8.5 m eaves height, private yard and 21 parking spaces.
Barker Storey Matthews has been instructed by developer, Hamilton Land to seek interest in this new warehouse scheme suitable for trade counter, showroom, high-tech or other warehouse-style uses.
This development – known as Plot 200 – is in a prominent location on Willie Snaith Road, in the heart of Newmarket’s main business district, and provides fast access to Cambridge, Ipswich and the East Coast Port via the A14, as well as Stansted Airport, London and the M25 via the A11/M11.
Nearby occupiers include Wickes, Travis Perkins, Ridgeons, Screwfix and Howdens Joinery. Newmarket’s Studlands Retail Park and Tesco Extra are within short walking distance of Plot 200 and the town centre is 1.5 miles away.
Plot 200 is being offered on a design & build pre-let or pre-sale basis.
Ben Green, Director at Barker Storey Matthews, said, “This is an excellent opportunity to acquire a brand new business facility in a fast expanding region only a short distance from Cambridge.
“High quality units of this nature are in short supply, especially on a freehold basis.”
