The progress of the latest new building at Castlewood Business Park just off Junction 28 of the M1 at its intersection with the A38 is clear to see as the framework is now up and the building is taking shape.
Following the recent letting of 250,000ft² on site to Alloga, owners and developers of the scheme CWC Group are progressing as can be seen, with the speculative construction of a new 72,000ft² Grade A warehouse or production unit just off Junction 28 of the M1.
Available to buy or rent, the building will be ready for occupation towards the end of Quarter 2 2019. Agents for the scheme Tim Gilbertson of FHP and Ranjit Gill of Savills commented:
“This is a nice way to start the New Year. With over 1.5 million sq ft now built on Castlewood the scheme really sets a benchmark for the East Midlands as the ‘place to be’.
Despite only launching marketing towards the end of last year we already have initial interest and perhaps key to this is the fact that our clients are more than happy to sell or rent what will be a superb building.
The building will offer 72,000ft² of prime space, ideally suited to manufacturing or distribution purposes and given the ongoing lack of stock in the market we very much hope that this will provide a fantastic new home for an expanding local or regional company.”
