Humberts Commercial have recently agreed the letting of 18a Lower Middle Street in Taunton town centre. The restaurant premises was available at a quoting rent of £10,000 per annum. Previously the building was occupied as The Old Mexican Restaurant for numerous years and then the Hexagon Café.
Stephen Richards who heads up the commercial department for Humberts comments “We received strong interest as soon as we brought the property to the market due to its favoured location within this boutique part of Taunton town centre and just off St James Street. We received numerous bids for the property from various occupiers who were interested in opening the restaurant again for different cuisines such as a Vegan café, Indian and Portuguese restaurants. Eventually, after competitive bidding the restaurant was let to a sole trader who is going to open a polish café and restaurant.”
