Advised by Avison Young, London and Scottish Investments has announced a further letting at Oakland House in Old Trafford.
Legal firm Optimal Solicitors has signed a 5-year lease on half of the 3rd floor totalling 5,479 square feet.
Optimal is relocating from its existing premises in Old Trafford and the building will cater for its existing 70-strong workforce. The deal gives the occupier a pre-emption on the remainder of the floor as its business continues to expand.
Commenting on the announcement, Avison Young associate director Harry Skinner said: “This is another good deal for the Old Trafford office market which is experiencing a resurgence following significant investment into improving the area’s transport links and numerous residential developments coming forward led by local and international investors. This regeneration will certainly boost the local office market.”
Bruce Edmondson, asset manager for London and Scottish Investments added: “We’ve undertaken a significant programme of refurbishment works at Oakland House including new signage, new external seating and landscaping along with refurbishment works to the reception and common areas. Further refurbishment works are planned for 2019 and we are delighted that our investment is attracting new occupiers to the building.”
Cushman and Wakefield are joint letting agents for the building.
