Nottingham and Leicester-based Franklin Ellis Architects has announced the appointment of two new recruits to the team.
Rona Eftekshari joins the practice as a senior interior designer and brings with her a wealth of experience in interior design, architecture and project management. Rona has bachelor’s degrees in Architecture from the University of Tehran and Architecture and Digital Innovation from the University of Derby, as well as an MSc Master’s degree in Sustainable Design and Healthy Buildings from the University of Derby.
Her role at Franklin Ellis will involve managing projects from inception to completion, coordinating contractors and suppliers and supervising junior members of the interiors team.
Speaking about her recent appointment, Rona said: “Prior to joining Franklin Ellis, I had heard lots of positive things about the company and the culture here. I was also enthused by the diverse types of projects in its portfolio from hospitality to offices to student accommodation.
“I have always had a passion for architecture, but my love for interior design has grown tremendously over the past few years as I particularly enjoy meeting the clients’ aspirations whilst executing a concise and considered design approach.”
Agnieszka Leoniec has also joined the team as an architectural assistant with over six years of experience. Her role will entail assisting project leaders in completing projects.
Agnieszka said: “Architecture combines everything that I enjoy and am skilled in; creativity, science and logic.
“Franklin Ellis is the ideal firm for me to use those skills and further progress my career. I’m excited to be here and the team are all incredibly supportive and welcoming.”
Andy Dowding, partner at Franklin Ellis Architects, said of the appointments: “As we start a new year it is wonderful to be further expanding our team. Rona and Agnieszka bring experience and talent and we are already all enjoying getting to know them.”
