Two more organisations have chosen Cambrian Buildings – the period multi-let office building in Cardiff Bay – as their base in Cardiff.
The Royal College of General Practitioners has relocated from nearby offices to take 2,573 sq ft of office space on the fourth floor, while marketing and communications agency Four Communications is leasing a 1,095 sq ft office on the second floor. Both leases are for a term of five years at an annual rental of £12.50 per sq ft. The landlord Longcap was advised on both transactions by property agencies Fletcher Morgan and Knight Frank.
Built in the 1880’s, Cambrian Buildings is an end-of-terrace Grade II listed five-storey office building on West Bute Street in the historic heart of Cardiff Bay.
Rhys Knight of Fletcher Morgan said: “The recent lettings at Cambrian Buildings are evidence of a growing office market, and demand for period buildings in Cardiff Bay. With stock in short supply, Cambrian Buildings is still one of the most prominent office buildings in Mount Stuart Square that offers high quality accommodation.”
Grace Shackell of Knight Frank added: “The vacant space has recently been refurbished to include LED lighting, raised ceilings, perimeter trunking and decoration throughout. The new lettings demonstrate how investment from a committed landlord really does attract the desired result.”
The Royal College of General Practitioners is the professional body for general practitioners in the United Kingdom, and represents and supports GPs on key issues including licensing, education, training, research and clinical standards.
Four Communications has grown since its launch in 2001 to a 330 strong agency with offices in London, Cardiff, Aberystwyth and the Gulf.
The remaining space available ranges from 1,017 sq ft – 7,629 sq ft. Please contact Knight Frank or Fletcher Morgan for further information.
