Advised by Cooke & Arkwright, law firm Geldards is to move its Cardiff headquarters to brand new offices under construction at Capital Quarter. Currently based at Dumfries Place, the law firm is to move into 30,000 of office accommodation at No 4 Capital Quarter on a ten year lease.
The site is due for completion in 2019 and the office fit out will commence in January 2020. The firm’s legal and support teams including corporate, commercial, real estate, charity and private client law teams will move in during the summer.
Capital Quarter comprises ten acres and has planning permission for more than 1,025,000 sq ft mixed use development with offices, hotels, student housing and education. Geldards will join organisations including Admiral, Which?, Network Rail and the Home Office.
